We've now cleared the first hurdle in our re-kindled efforts to get a new Clubhouse for Thorney Park. Following a meeting with Peterborough City Council's building design team, we now have a draft set of plans.

 

The building will be 31m in length and 6m in width, will have four team changing rooms - each with showers and wc - two referee's rooms - again with shower and wc - and a reception / refreshments area that can accommodate over 100 people standing.

 

The anticipated project cost is £300,000 - so we will need to get into serious fund raising mode.

 

We have already commitments of £60,000 from the Football Foundation and from Peterborough City Council, so we're 20% there!

 

A meeting is planned for later in the month with Cambs FA to get them involved in finding us the bigger funding partners.
